Hello and welcome to my new blog. I dedicate this blog to my creative art/spiritual practice. This blog has been many years in the planning and preparing stage. Mostly because I wasn't really ready to share my spritiual process with the world at large. But, perhaps it may give other creatives the courage to share their journey. Making art is many things for me. It is my form of magical working. It serves as a method of healing, anchoring spiritual energies into this reality. It guides, anchores, heals and uplifts me. So, my hope is that it will also help you feel better in the world. At the very least inspire you.

Most of my imagary tends to be in a couple of categories. It will reflect my love and interest in ancient spritiual practices and our ancestors that practiced them. Secondly, I love nature and especially space and the stars beyond. It would seem logical that I would also appreciate the art of astrology as it relates to my spritual views in my life. I am umapologetic about that. I walk my talk. I believe in the freedom of all to be themselvees and the freedom to be. Every being on this planet is an expression of the divine and there is no debate in my mind about this. So, no hate will be tolerated here. All colors, loves and spritual expressions are welcome. Notice I said spiritual expressions. The core of all religious beliefs is love. that's it, nothing else changes that

The above image is one I call "Black Hole Sun", yes the title inspired by the song lyric. But, this art piece was created with the intention of the union of the divine feminine and masculine within each of us. But, I created this for my own exploration and healing of this aspect within myself. For me, this world tends to tear that apart within us and we tend to grow up with toxic views of both energies. We tend to become unbalanced and filled with traumatic experiences which further divides the feminine and masculine energies within each of us.

The above image was created to honor the full flower moon of May. I create many of my healing art pieces with cloth and thread. The piece seems to embody a spirit of it's own. Hence the name of this blog. I use a variety of reclaimed and new textiles, threads and various bobbles. to create my work. I've recently rediscovered the sheer joy of embroidary and slow stitching as a process of creating my work. My hope is to explain and explore more of sharing my process with you all out there. But, ultimately this blog is really a visual journel that I can use to document my process and art. So, I hope you'll stop back now and agian. I'm not the best at posting regularly. But, I hope to be better about doing this. Thank you again for stopping by and have a great week.
